With each step, the landscape becomes more dramatic as we ascend toward the remote Blüemlisalphütte, perched at 2,840 meters, surrounded by ice and stone.
We’ll spend the night in this legendary hut, with the stars above and the mighty Blüemlisalp massif all around. Day two offers a majestic descent back toward the valley—or, for the adventurous, the option to cross high passes deeper into the alpine world.

On day two, we tackle the rugged and scenic Ammertenpass—a dramatic crossing between towering peaks, with sweeping views into two valleys. From here, the trail winds down toward Lenk, passing alpine streams and grazing cows, before ending in this charming mountain village.
